Karim MATROUF holds a PhD in Computer Science from the Orsay University in Paris obtained after a DEA in Computer Science from Pierre and Marie Curie University.
Karim MATROUF began his career in 1987 in Paris as a teacher of Information Systems at the University of Orsay. He joined the CNRS in 1991 as a researcher and successfully led several industrial projects in the fields of artificial intelligence and speech recognition.
Founding partner of M2M Group, Karim MATROUF has evolved in the world of secure electronic transaction in various positions of responsibility. In 1991, he became Project Manager at M2M, successfully conducting large development projects in various environments: UNIX, Windows NT, Oracle, Informix… and implemented several card-based management systems for leading groups in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. In 1994, he was assigned as a Technical Director, before becoming in 1997 Managing Director of M2M Group in charge of R & D, Technology and Quality. Since 2013, Karim MATROUF is the Group’s deputy Chairman. He is currently involved in large-scale corporate and team management assignments and is a successful pilot of high-tech and international projects in the fields of electronic banking, e-money and mobility.
